Hi, I have load cell data collected over 20 seconds, during which I have performed 5 loading/unloading cycles on the sensor. I would like to segment the data into 5 separate trials so that I can create an average trial.
In order to this, I need to identify when the force measurement (i.e., SUMX) exceeds 20N (the data collected during the trial consists of loading the unit up to 500N and then unloading it) and then identify when the force returns to less than 20N for a single cycle. Ideally, I could save each of these cycles as a new variable or column in a variable so that I can see if there is a systematic difference between cycles 4 or 5 and trial 1.
How do I segment this data into cycles which start based on a threshold of >20 and end on a threshold of <20?
